Yes, he's the first rookie to throw 2 TD in his first two starts. And yes, he has the rookie record for most passing yards in a game (405). But in the league, stats don't mean much. He's shown signs where he looks like he's been playing for years and then there are the rookie pains.

He badly needs out of Arizona.

I personally think he'll be a steady, but far from spectacular, 10 year guy. Put him on a team with talent (like, if USC went pro) and he'll win.

definite...Leinart performed in a expert type offense in college. He could have been given the prospect to take his lumps because of the fact the finished time starter (no rotation). he would be a solid professional quarterback. Carson Palmer replaced right into a fabricated from an analogous device, and he's doing properly for my section--the Bengals subjects are no longer his fault.

I think he will. He has a winning attitude and a lot of poise for a rookie, in addition to having better-than-advertised arm strength and rush evasion. He just needs an offensive line that can give him more than two seconds to get rid of the ball, and, of course, experience....

He has all the tools to be a great QB in the NFL for years to come.I don't think he will be a star for a couple more years, especially until that ARZ offensive line improves.

yeah i think you just give him time and he will evolve into a great QB that happened with alex smith he did not do well at all last year and now he is starting to get more comfortable and becoming a better player with time. So i think that with more time and oppritunitys that he will become an elite QB

I believe so, as long as the wide recieving core around him : boldin, fitzgerald and johnson stays in place. I do believe he is good in this system, however i believe for him to grow james must pick up his game and the coach dennis green must be removed he is a horrible playcaller and terrible for nurturing qbs

Yes... but i say a good QB is a player who don't get under a lot of pressure and who is a scrambler.

Yes, I think he will. He only needs a competent coach and a decent team. Oops, I guess he's in deep s**t.
