Football (American) - November 2006

[Selected]: All categories Sports Football (American)

I was listening on local radio and they where talking about what to do. Many where more worried about the Football teams playing than the fact that they: 1) Broke team rules, and 2) Broke the law.
Not one word is being mentioned about the business selling to them (Why where they not carded in the 1st place? Becaseu they where players at THEIR place-in other owords good for business after a game?) And one person on the radio actually said leave them alone, they are black and disadvantage enough as it is, that if they got kicked off the team it would destroy their future.

My Question is: 1) Should they be treated differently becasue they are football players? 2) Should they be kicked off the team for it. and 3) Shouldn't they also be focusing on the bar, even if it is a well to do business.

OK, i asked this last week, and got a mix of answers. Im asking it again. Eli Manning now has better stats than Rex ReallyGross, man, whose performance yesterday against the 2-6 Dolphins was insanely bad.
My core of defensive ends is, however, hurting badly, so to speak, with Michael Strahan going down with a sprained foot, Osi Umenyora out two weeks in a row, no Sam Madison or Justin Tuck either.

BUT, I still say my Giants WIN this Sunday. I need to hear your opinion (and especially that of my boy, Wrecker).

I bet the analysts won't have much bad to say about the Colts defense this week! 4 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery, and some pretty impressive hits! Everyone wants to pick on the Colts because of the run defense. But the Colts have one of the smallest defenses in the league. They are buit for speed. And they can be very good at causing turnovers. As with what happened tonight. I'm sorry, but these analysts don't know what they are talking about! The Colts defense is so so so bad that they are 8 -0? Their defense sucks so so bad that they go on the road and beat Denver and New England? Its a 100% fact that without a tough defense any team would have been clobbered in these 2 games!

I was listening to the commentary by John Madden and he talked about how no quarterback knows the game better (which I already knew) and he also said that Peyton is basically a Quarterback/Coach. So do you think after Peyton's carrer is done many many many years on down the road, do you think he would make a great Head Coach? I believe he would because I think he understands every aspect of the game. What do you think?

I mean, they're not a bad team. They only have 1 loss so far.

So, just cause they have 1 loss, everyone hates them?
the patriots have 1 loss also, does everyone also hate them?

Me, i hate football. I'm just saying this cause i'm from Chicago. And i see people bashing us.

Indy is the BEST team PERIOD! 8-0 say's it all and after this win NOBODY can say otherwise!

Do you agree?

I am from Indianapolis, and let me tell you Patriots fans, there is no team we have more respect for when we play you guys. Each team was playing like it was a playoff. Each team made mistakes. Each team played aggressive on defense. I knew the game wouldn't be decided until the end, and I was completly right! You know, I sometimes wish we could face the Patriots more times in the season because the game NEVER dissapoints! What did you think?

i noticed that my friends wear cups for little league baseball, but not for city league or middles school football. why is this?? i would think that football is a much more contact sport than baseball, so wouldn't you want to protect you self??

Last week's hame sucked, but today's was AWESOME, but Reggie Bush needs to work on not running backwards, when someone gets in his way, he needs to run the tackles, but it was great! 31-14 SAINTS! 6-2. So who else is very proud. Last year they only won 3 games?! I straight from New Orleans, infact, I'm wearing a Reggie Bush jersey now, #25 BAY-BE!
