Of course. They're undefeated. They just beat Denver & New England on the road in consecutive weeks. It may change later on but as of right now, no one can deny that the Colts are #1 in the power rankings.

Jeff L - Hate to burst your bubble with 1/2 of the season left they still have question marks, and so many things could still happen. Their defense is porous and susceptible to the run. They have a great and gifted QB who has yet at any level proved he can win the big game. Never won a state championship in high school, lost to Florida 4 times costing Tennessee shots at National Championships, and has choked in the playoffs when a birth to the Super Bowl was on the line. They didn't impress me at New England. Yeah they won 27- 20 but the Pats turned the ball over 6 times in the game still had a chance to win, and had the ball when time ran out. With the win at New England they probably will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs, but what does that mean? The Steelers beat them at home last year to advance and win the the Big Game. The Colts and Manning still have to prove they can win the big one. Do you actually think if they played the 3 time Super Bowl champions in the playoffs that the Patriots and Brady would turn the ball over 6 times again? No. In the modern days of the NFL having the best record during the regular season unfortunately doesn't mean much. It's about winning Super Bowls. The Indianapolis Colts have yet to do that.

LoL you are another delusional Indy fan.............werent you 13-0 last season at one point? Yes...and how far did that take you? Reg. season means nothing to a certain degree....after that its when the real thing begins, this is where the Colts CANT do anything. This is where the true Manning and the true Colts team comes out. They flat out suck in the playoffs. 2 of the last 4 yrs they had a top 10 defense and offense, 0-2 in those yrs. Nice job. This yr they have a bad defense that allows way to many rushing yds, and big plays in general. OVERRATED like every single year. These facts dont lie...you have a winning % of like almost 70% during the reg. season in the last 4-5 yrs and a winning % of about 40% in the playoffs in that span. Cant win the big one...and wont this year.

I have to agree Indy is the best team playing right now. We all saw that the Bears were a fake 7-0. Indy is always the best team during the year but the real question is can they get it done in the playoffs.

As a Pats fan I have to hand it to the Colts for winning a road game and causing all those turnovers. Manning was so good at keeping his team moving. The Colts are 8-0 halfway thru the season. We'll have to see how they fare in the playoffs.

They just proved tonight that they ARE the best team in the NFL. Last week beating a tough Denver team and putting up 30+ pts and this week beating a very good Pats team, and both wins were on the road. They have the record, 8-0, the best QB and coming soon......a defense.

I'm gonna say YES.
Maybe this year will FINALLY be the year that they can prove all of the critics wrong, and Manning can take the team all the way to the Superbowl and get his ring. That game was fantastic. I was so happy to see New England lose.
Here's hoping that Indi goes all the way! :-D

Hands down. I think they showed that last night against New England (one of the two or three best behind the Colts).

They have a GREAT OFFENSE (Passing, not Rushing). They need to work on their defense. But hey! they WON!!!!! I was sick of hearing Patriots are going to beat the Colts or Brady is better than Manning. Well, who beat who? COLTS BEAT PATS. I'm hoping to see Manning getting the RING this year.
