Fantasy Sports - September 2007

I need to start 2 RB's.
Which would you choose and why?

A. Green (vs) Dead last KC run Defense.
R. Johnson (vs) Baltimore 2nd ranked run stop defense
However last year Rudi got 70 and a TD on
them.
R. Brown (vs) Washington run defense ranked near 20th. But
also browns O-line is almost horrible.

would you go with the old guy and the soft Defense in A. green, Rudi facing a top run stop D? or Brown facing washington but since they can't throw redskins may stack.

Of these RBs, which 2 should i start:

Brandon Jacobs vs Dallas D
Maurice Jones-Drew vs Tennesee D
Cedric Benson vs San Diego D
Ronnie Brown vs Washington D (note: skins have a new strong LB core with london fletcher, randall godfrey and marcus washington)

I can't decide on which 2 to start, your opinions would be appreciated.

I have both of them on my team but i dont know who to play. I know taylor is the starter but everyone is predicting jones-drew to have a better year. They both are tough running backs and neither one is designated for goal line carries so i dont know which one to play. Right now i have jones-drew but im not sold on him completely this year. opinions??

at TE i have LJ Smith but he's injured a bit, but as reserve i have David Martin TE Miami. He's a bit unknown but he had a decent pre-season and for some reason i released McMichael for him because i believe he'll shock ppl. Should I start LJ Smith or start Martin or release Martin and pick up McMichael and start him?


Also at WR Muhsin is listed on injury report so im starting Jerry Porter this week is that the right thing to do? I also have Roy Williams who is fine and Donald Driver who has a minor injury and is listed as probable.

A guy in my league has too many Cardinals. He asked me to trade Javon Walker for either Larry Fitzgerald or Anquan Boldin. Boldin is out. But I should I trade Walker for Fitzgerald? I would have drafted Fitzgerald first. But now I'm not sure.

Jacksonville is rated #3 this week on many lists because of the fact that they are a Tier 2 defense against a bad offense.

Miami has a killer run defense and poor pass defense. They face Washington that has a good run offense and a poor pass offense. This looks like the ideal matchup for Miami to shut them out.

Oakland kept teams to league best 150.8 passing yards/game last year - mainly because everyone just ran on them. Against Detroit - a passing team, they look tempting to pick off Kitna at least two times.

Washington: Because Miami's offense is terrible.

Minnesota: Vikings were brutal against the run. And thats all that Falcons have!

Right now, I want to rate them as such:
1. Jacksonville
2. Miami
3. Minnesota
4. Oakland
5. Washington.

Any insight or rankings would help a lot!

Gould was Gold last year but against the SD chargers, I dont see him exploiting his success from last season: Bears getting turnovers and not being able to move the ball: Field Gold.

Elam has been ranked high on some charts, low on others. He is 10/10 in opening games, and the Broncos are playing a bad defensive team.

Graham is on a high powered offensive team which means a good kicker. They play Baltimore though.

Scobee is on a high powered offensive team against a poor defensive team.

Akers vs GB seems appealing.

Stover can benefit off CIN turnovers.

Right now I am ranking them:
1. Scobee
2. Gould
3. Elam
4. Graham
5. Akers
6. Stover

Any other insight along with your ranking would be very appreciated!
