That would be insane. Smith is the only receiving TE in Philly and McNabb loved throwing to him (check his averages with/without McNabb). He might have as good or better numbers than Heap if McNabb stays healthy. He has a proven track record while Miller had 1 solid season and the Titans are still waiting on Scaife to meet his potential. I wouldnt be a bit surprised to see Smith on the Pro-Bowl roster at the end of the season. Keep him and monitor McNabb...if he goes down then go after one of the other guys.

no way. i have drafted lj almot every year and he never dissapoints. philly is a team with a weak receiving core which leaves smith as the best option for a talented qb like donovan. Heath Miller is a solid player, but roethlisberger cannot utilize him as well as mcnabb can use smith. also, pittsburgh plays some rough defenses. bo scaife is a decent player, but he does not have the play making abilities of lj smith.

miller will have a big year and scaife will be the guy most targeted by young this year. I would take either one of them over lj
