Gould was Gold last year but against the SD chargers, I dont see him exploiting his success from last season: Bears getting turnovers and not being able to move the ball: Field Gold.

Elam has been ranked high on some charts, low on others. He is 10/10 in opening games, and the Broncos are playing a bad defensive team.

Graham is on a high powered offensive team which means a good kicker. They play Baltimore though.

Scobee is on a high powered offensive team against a poor defensive team.

Akers vs GB seems appealing.

Stover can benefit off CIN turnovers.

Right now I am ranking them:
1. Scobee
2. Gould
3. Elam
4. Graham
5. Akers
6. Stover

Any other insight along with your ranking would be very appreciated!

Don't overthink things when it comes to the kicking game. There is no predicting who's gonna put up 4-5 FGs.

Obviously don't play kickers from teams that have trouble advancing past their own 20, but otherwise- pick one and be done with it.

Even the best kicker will have days where the only scoring is 3 touchdowns- or maybe the coach decides to go for 2 to win the game.

Elam on opening day- are you kidding me? :)

Scobee, Elam and Akers will have opportunities, that's all you can ask for.

Gould would still be #1 for me- but remember, high powered offenses aren't always the best for kickers - good defensive teams with poor offenses (can't score in the Red Zone, etc) tend to score the most field goals.

Ryan Longwell - MIN (domes are good too)- fits that description, as well as whoever is kicking for ATL (14 of 16 games indoors or warm weather locations this year).

Personally, I wouldn't worry about your kickers as much. Kickers are very inconsistent from game to game and season to season. Starting the wrong kicker won't kill your team either. The difference between the top fantasy kicker and the 12th best (depending on the scoring system) is only about 3 points a game.

Scobee. Elam could'nt kick a chair out from underneath him if he tried to hang himself.
