This it the 2nd year of a keeper league where we keep 5 players and 2 rookies. Is this guy worth an early pick, if not how long should I wait?

I want to get into a league that has the same guys in it every year. Are there any leagues out there that are a guy or two short?

Me and my friends want to start a keeper league so we dont have to worry about organizing it every year, but we prefer not to pay for it, and if we have to we don't want to pay that much.

I find it so hard to find good keeper league sites, probably because most of them are private. Does anybody know any good ones? Or perhaps a list of different keeper league sites?

A good site I found for a Good Keeper League is
www.bbkeep.com
They are very informative about the keeper system, the rules, and fees.

So this is the trade
I would give away Arenas, Gerald Wallace, and Rafer Alston

Then I would recieve Jkidd and Cbosh, and he would drop mutumbo.

There are also a few good free agents, I was thinking of picking up Ryan Gomes, or Q Richardson.

Anyways, what do you guys think?

Are there any sites that allow you to do any keeper leagues, free leagues, for baseball that are any good. Do you just have to find your own people and make a private league with your own draft rules?

I have done fantasy hockey and fantasy basketball with some people at school. Both of these leagues have been head to head. In baseball, I prefer rotisserie, but I don't know if everybody will approve.

Do any of you have any experience running a "keeper league"?
I run a league for money every year and this year i have 14 players.
I want to make this year a keeper league in order to reduce draft time and other things. Any advice from anyone...in a keeper league do you keep all of your players or a certain amount of them and throw the rest into a free agency pool for next year.

Advice or comments please, serious people please

Next year, one of the members wants to have a bid league instead of the traditional draft as we have been doing.I am not in favor of this.Yes you can get players that you want but you cannot take suprise players at the end without someone knowing that you know of them.I drafted Marques Colston with the last pick last year.I also drafted Rob Bironas the year before and Lawrence tynes the year before that.I love getting sleepers that no one knows of.What arguments can I bring to not turn to a bid league? Thanks
