You cannot keep Thomas or Portis. Keep KJ, he will heal and be dominant for the Lions, plus that 1st pick is a huge deal - you might be able to get someone real good.

Well, definately do not keep Kevin Jones because he is coming back from major knee surgery and he is not even supposed to be ready untill midway through next season.

So, the choice is between Portis and Thomas Jones. T. Jones still has Benson to takeaway some of the carries and Portis will always get the majority of the carries if he is healthy.

I say keep Jones only if there is a 1st round pick equally as good as a healthy Portis, if not definately keep Portis.

I would keep Portis. Kevin Jones is hurt and Thomas Jones is in a platoon. Worst case scenario for Portis is that he is also in a platoon, but he would likely see the bulk of the goalline carries. There's an outside chance that Portis could get traded, but I think that's a better risk to go with. Teams don't draft player 4th overall to have them platoon, so I expect to see Benson start stealing Thomas Jones' touches even more next year.

definatly keep Jones. He is a great #2 back and a fringe #1. The crux of this deal is your 1st round pick. Worst comes to worst you get Portis back or a at least a Portis valued player. You can't risk keeping Portis and having him under produce again when you can keep a solid T.Jones in your backfield.

This is a tough pick, since T. Jones is doing great, but Benson will end up taking carries. I would still keep T. Jones though because by letting go of Portis, who is pretty good, you get your 1st round pick back, which is essential in a keeper league.

Keep Kevin Jones. He is the primary option in Detroit, as they have few oher star players. Thomas Jones may have to share carries with Benson next year, and Portis is good for only TD's, as Betts will handle the yardage for the Redskins. Even if Kevin Jones is injured, he will be back by next year, so keep him.

I would like to keep Thomas Jones, but, how much longer are you gonna take him sharing the carries with Benson. Clinton Portis is bound to replicate his numbers from Denver, eventually! I'd keep Portis, but to me, it depends on who is available if you don't keep him.
