Yes, you can email customer care to have the team transferred. If you are in a public league you can email them directly and after verification they will transfer the team. If you are in a private league the commissioner has to send in the request. I had to do this when I changed Internet providers and they were very helpful.

I forgot what information they needed but they sent me a template to forward to my leagues commissioner.
I emailed CC and they sent me the following reply.
If you are the league commissioner and you would like to transfer ownership of a team in your league to a new Yahoo! ID, please provide the following:
- League ID
- Team Name
- Current Yahoo! ID
- New Yahoo! ID for the team
- New email address for league emails
So again you can transfer your team but it only works for the major games, not pick em style games for some reason.

You cannot get to your fantasy teams with a new account if the old teams are assigned to your old account.
