So this is the trade
I would give away Arenas, Gerald Wallace, and Rafer Alston

Then I would recieve Jkidd and Cbosh, and he would drop mutumbo.

There are also a few good free agents, I was thinking of picking up Ryan Gomes, or Q Richardson.

Anyways, what do you guys think?

Gilbert Arenas: 29.4 Pts; 4.6 Reb; 6.3 Ast
- Arenas has a 83.9 FT%, 42.4 FG%. & a 37.3 3PT%; although his point scoring & assists haven't changed much from last year, he's become a better rebounder this season, increasing his overall production & value.

Gerald Wallace: 15.5 Pts; 6.4 Reb; 2.0 Ast
(2006 Gerald Wallace:15.2 Pts; 7.5 Rebs; 1.8 Ast) - Don't expect too much change in his numbers in the second half; also has bad shooting percentages. (26.5 3PT% & 66.0 FT%) His only increase in potential is on defense, last season he put up 2.5 STLs & 2.1 BLKs. ( around 2 stls & 1 blk this season.)

Rafer Alston: 13.5 Pts; 3.4 Rebs; 5.3 Ast - R. Alston's had two straight games with 9 Ast, and he's averaging 7.5 Ast in his last six games.

Versus.

Jason Kidd: 14.4 Pts; 8.0 Rebs; 8.8 Ast - His shooting Percentages nearly mirror Arenas's percentages this season except a 4 percent difference in FT shooting. He's averaged 9 Ast's his whole career, so no worries there, and rebound output is up also.

Chris Bosh: 23.3 Pts.; 10.6 Rebs; 2.4 Ast - He'll give you a block per game, but nowhere near the defense G. Wallace can put up. Bosh does have a good FT% for a big man however, 77%.

If you're losing all your head2head matchups over rebounds and assists, and you don't really need alston in your PG rotation, then pull the trigger on this deal. But if you're solid in those categories already, then keep who you've got for the better defensive output. And lastly, Bosh & Kidd play in the same, WEAK Eastern Atlantic division, and constantly play weaker teams providing the opportunity for better stats game after game.

My advice is DO THE TRADE as long as you put up Andrei Kirilenko up instead of Gerald Wallace, but that's me. J. O'Neal, C Bosh, D. West, & C. Boozer. You could do a lot worse with your fantasy frontcourt. I like the trade with AK instead of GWall.

Arenas Wallace Alston for Kidd Bosh... and you then can pick up Gomse or Richardson... I actually like your team as it stands. I would say no deal EXCEPT for the fact that Wallace is highly injury-prone. Arenas is about on par with Kidd (Yahoo rank is about the same), Bosh and Wallace are both top-20 performers (when Gerald is healthy), and you are throwing in Alston on top for a SLIGHT upgrade from G-Force to Bosh. However, Wallace's injury likelihood makes me (regretfully, as a HUGE Gerald fan) say that you should take the deal. BUT - if you think Wallace will stay healthy (I sure hope so), no way you can take it - Wallace puts up some insane numbers. Over the course of three games, he went from Charlotte's 4th leading scorer to #1, and is a beast on the boards, blocking shots, and steals... You need luck for this to work out either way.

Here's what you should do:

You already have Chris paul, and JKidd will give you pretty much the same stats (a little more rebounding) that Paul does. Keeping Arenas diversifies your guards. Chris Bosh would be a good addition but you have O'neal and they pretty much have even numbers as well. Plus Wallace gives your tons of steals.

I wouldn't do it, you're trading a couple players that make your team consistant all around for players that are very similar to existing players on your roster.

I would drop or trade chandler and wallace, because chandler is a one-dimensional player, and Wallace may be injury prone again. That trade is very good for you. Arenas has been great, but Kidd has really done well too. And, Alston is ok, but not great, and Bosh is definitely better than Wallace. And, Mutombo would be a good player for at least another 10 games, until Yao comes back, so, I would do this trade, easily.

Your team looks pretty good now. You know what you get from Arenas (pts., 3 pts., good rebounding guard, asst. steals);
Wallace has been playing much better latter, he seems to have recovered from his earlier injury, and he is listed as a 3 position player, and you know what you get from Alston (3 pts., asst, steals).

Now BOSH IS A MONSTER. 23/10, but now here is something to think about.
Look at the Nets....that TEAM is decimated...Pretty soon the only player Kidd will be able to pass to is himself....

As far as Mutombo, he's going to riding pine in about a month, maybe less....
Yao went out in December (6-8 weeks)..........
He should be back in a few....

This is my opinion, you have to make the choice for yourself.
Gomes would be a good pickup, Richardson, way too many shots and not enough balls to go around in NY (crawford, marbury, curry).

Consider the following

Gilbert Arenas=Great Scorer+good assists
Gerald Wallace=Good Scorer+Average Rebounder
Rafer Alston=Average All around

Kidd=GREAT All around
Chris Bosh=GREAT Scorer and rebounder
Mutumbo=Bad Everywhere Average-Good Rebounds

Arenas= 29.4 4.6 6.3
Wallace=15.5 6.4 2.0
Alston= 13.5 3.4 5.3

Kidd=14.4 8.0 8.8
Bosh=23.3 10.6 2.4
Mutombo=3.2 6.9 .2

Bottom Line: Do it your getting value. Bosh beats out Arenas Kidd beats Wallace and Alston combined

P.S pick up Gomes. Q rich as cold streaks and hot streaks

its hard to think of any reason why you would do this trade unless you needed rebounds. the Arenas, Wallace, and Alston would easily surpass the points, defensive numbers and FTs. Also if you traded Arenas and Alston, your 3's would drop considerably. If you are in need of rebounds, i would suggest picking up Gomes, Millsap, or Kaman. they might be available since your league seems to be a medium to deep league

no keep Arenas because Jkidd has no comparison to arenas and get Q Richardson and maybe get Chris Bosh it all depends of you need a big man to go in strong or just a shooting big man who dosent really playin the paint

G Wallace is going to have a huge 2nd half, I imagine the guy trading knows this also. Y. Ming is coming back soon, so he will drop Mutumbo anyway.

I dont care how many rebounds or whatever Bosh will get you, you dont give up Arenas unless A) Someones holding a gun to your head or B) Theyll give you something really lopsided like Lebron and Kobe or something.
