I am not an Indian and was horrified by the reaction of the Indian Cricket fans after their defeat in the hands of Sri Lanka. I know the Indians adore their cricketers but how can the players become encouraged after their fans burnt the pictures of their players, stoned and broke down thir houses? I love Indian cricket and the players in this world cup were having a really bad time. They are really talented and good players and everyone who knows cricket would know that its such an unpredictable game. Surely the Indian fans have seen enough cricket to realize that? We have forgiven and encouraged the players of my country after their defats and the Indians too sould doo that for the Indian cricketers to bounce back.

Psychology is the very important & key factor to proceed any matter/task. If you lookout Psychology-flow in the match between Bangladesh & India, nobody will wonder/quetion if they defeat against India, so they would played with less stress etc., whereas for INDIA, they must have to win becoz, bangladesh was an weak one as all of us feel. This is the main reason for defeat concern to me. Our team is very efficient and brilliant but they need to be strengthened in psychology aspects.

Minutes of the secret meeting dated 29th March 2007, between BCCI & Greg Chappel on Sachin Tendulkar
It was decided that

1 - Age, he is not aging gracefully and his age must be considered from the time he started playing international cricket in 1989. Just too many games played. He should retire now or in 2008 (latest).
2 - Injury, starting from 1999-2000 season onwards sachin has always had some injury scare every 8 to 12 months. He should not play too many games & must be rested for 50% of the games.
3 - Inability to perform in high pressure games in the last 5 years or more. If he plays less cricket, then he will play better cricket.
4 - Batting Position - He can no longer command the best batting positions, as he is no longer the best , he should bat at No. 7 in ODIs & No. 5 in Tests
5 - Other abilities - As he will now bat low down the order , he should try to do some bowling & maybe 10 overs in every game, as he cannot get into the team on batting alone.

with no offence on any state or community..the warm welcome given to Sourav in calcutta was uncalled and makes no sense....he is done no great stuff in the worlscup and infact his 60+ again bangaladesh was i real sluggish pace..he failed to deliver in the desider....bad kolkat

The scene at Kolkata's Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport Friday morning was in sharp contrast to the homecoming of the other members of Team India who returned empty handed from the World Cup. Most team members, who crashed out in the first stage and lost to minnows Bangladesh, reached their hometown in scattered groupings, trying to melt into the darkness.However, Sourav's return was public and greeted with cheers.
