I think that's a bit extreme. They lost a couple of matches. So what? They aren't the first team to let themselves down. They are ranked the 5th best ODI team in the world, they don't become rubbish overnight, the same with Pakistan who are ranked 4th. Just look at the England football team for a great example of a team who under perform but don't quit!!!

Stopping India form playing International Cricket is not gonna help at all to improve India's performance and to bring out new talent BCCI needs to improve pitches in India made India A or India B team tour and play A and B teams of Australia and South Africa to find out who can perform on fast bouncy pitches.

Win and loss in any tournament is common and one should take it with sportsman spirit and try to overcome the shortcomings and improve the performance in future. Stop playing cricket is not going to do any good to Indian Cricket.

India should not stop playing. A poor performance will not improve by not playing. Practice in the international arena will ensure they improve and become very strong again.
Would you ask should England stop playing football after their world cup performance?
