in india, pakistan and sri lanka cricket is like the most popular game and this in turn puts major pressure on these teams to perform..cos their home people follow the game much closely than a team like australia or south africa for eg...where the main sport is rugby, football etc and attention of the people is somewhat away from cricket. so they are under less pressure to perform and also are less criticized if they do something wrong.
this could be the reason why south africa and australia are the top 2 cricket teams in the world right now..cos their audience is limited than asian teams.
this i think is a huge disadvantage for asian teams.

Should Australia, South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand, England and the rest of the non asian countries form there own governing body? Corruption, cheating (bowling actions) and money is distroying the sport.

Before somebody shows them the "outside" door...

If they are "real" sportsmen and "really" feel disgusted then they should not worry about Lara/Ponting taking their records and step down...like Inzamam did..

I was watching the game yesterday between SA and Sri Lanka and found Malinga's bowling action fascinating. I thought there was a rule of the angle at which the overarm can be placed - yet Malinga's seemed to be nearly horizontal. Under my beliefs over the rule, this would be illegal - but it obviously isn't - can someone explain why please?

Thanks!

Sharad Powar has taking a U TURN on his openion on Indian cricket team. From blaming tem for the debacle, now he is blaming Indian public for building pressure on Indian team to win.
From now on we must resolve that:
we will presurise team to lose the match so that in pressure of loosing they win.
IsMr. S.Powar given his due by the team to let them continue in Indian team and get more advertisements.
Is Indian cricket team too immature even to handle common men pressure that too from a distance.

Shouldn't youvraj become captain and then he will be resposible for his team and will bring in youn energetic players. This exactly what the soth africans did. they made graem smith the captain when he was very young. Should india do the same?
