- You cricket fans
- Mixing cricket with politics
- No grit/killer instinct/determination with players
- Irfan pathan not included in the playing X1

I can single out 1 reason which nobody has mentioned about it anywhere.

Pathan was out of form...Had he been in the side (in good form, read below), he would have knocked off few wickets against bangla, and then tormented their bowling to get some extra runs..both would have helped india immensely..afterall, it was batting that led india down..

how pathan should have been brought into form?? Why no one including pathan himself didnt think about it??

he is quite close to Wasim akram..so why didnt he seek his help almost 1 year ago??? Had he took his help, then during the next 6 months or so..he should have come back into some kind of form so as to atleast retain his place in the playing X1....but he didnt do that..?? akram publicly said, pathan didnt approach him for help during his bad days?? why??

1.Dravid's captaincy was crap
2. Chappel clearly has had no positive influence on the team and so should depart
3. Main problem in the world cup specifically was that whenever we did not get a good start then the middle order could not step up and score the runs. Ganguly has done his job by giving a steady start. The other batsmen did to take responsibility as well.
4. I fail to understand how Tendulkar and Dravid would come lower down the order. I would think that the best batsmen should come up the order and see off the new ball and score the runs!
5. We missed the experience of Kaif. Even which his lack-luster form I bet he would have been better than the inexperience of Uthapa

Dude, why are you surprised ? How did we do in West Indies last year? How did we do in Champion's trophy last year? We couldn't even make to the final in the tri-nation at KL. It's a reality check. None of the Asian countries made it to Champion's semi. Only Sri Lanka will possibly make it to the last 4 here. Dravid has a serious issue motivating the team. Check Guru Greg's coaching record. Did any great batsman become a great coach ever ? Why Dinesh Karthik and Pathan were not even tried a sinle time ? How did Utthapa even make it to the final XI. Why did Dravid not bring in Agarkar at death in the Sri Lanka match ? How come he never tried Shewag as a bowler against SL ? They had way too many left handers. He is making too many mistakes and I think it's time to bring back the one who was kicked out for no reasons. I can't believe Laxman is worse than DK or Utthapa. It's just stupid that we packed 2 wicketkeepers when Kaif and Laxman are left out. Do we really need big guns ? We can't even play 50 overs. Go back to the drawing board, bring John Wright and Ganguly combo back and DO NOT expect magic.. Guys, Dhoni is not Gilchrist, Pathan is not Akram and moreover ....Dravid is not Ganguly ... Get real ..

These are the people/facts responsible for our exit in the World Cup 2007:

1) Coach / support staff
2) BCCI
3) Selectors
4) Tournament Format
5) Umpires
6) rules of the game (net run rate, etc)
7) Toss
8) West Indian Conditions
9) Pitch
10)Bermuda

11)Mandira Bedi & Charu Sharma=Mandira Bedi and Charu Sharma have disturbed the concerntration of our cricketers.. how the hell they can behave so closely to one another?? given that Indian players went there as bachelors??

12)Indian cricket fans

13)West Indies People=west indian people didnt pray for rains during India/Bangla match

14)Hanuman =cos he didnt destroy Sri lanka Completely

15)Indira Gandhi=she only created Bangladesh

All these are responsible for our team's loss.. otherwise, our team played brilliantly and would have beaten everyone and won the world cup...

India Took Bangladesh Lightly
And The Indian's Were Kicked By Them.

They Were Over-Confident.

the whole team (the 11 played) is responsible for the bad performance in the 2007 world cup. Before the cup start men in blue were the favourites to win the cup. But is a shame in the part of them that they were not able to enter to the next round because of their inconsistency and lack of application in the field. They thought that the opposition will loose by seeing the team(personal perforance in the team). Totally the team has not played like a unit and thier performance par below the performance of the nee entries like, ireland, scotland, bermuda etc., it shame in their part

All the batsmen and bowlers are equally responsible for India's early exit from World Cup

I think i have saw a dangerous dream that INDIAN CRICKET TEAM walked out of "ICC WORLD-CUP". If it is true not only one person responsible for it. All the members , players, management, selectors & specially coach is responsible for it.

ofcourse our coach and captain who thought bangladeshis are easy to fish and forgot there game ,instead of watching there game pattern and making a game plan these guys were busy shopping and playing politics on dada .keeping shreesant and irfan out of the game was the worse idea of all.
agarkar was never a good performer with opening spell. ball was swinging good we could not take any advantage of it ,so many wide balls by agarkar was more frustrating , not many wickets and ofcourse short and overpitch balls.hek he should had been kicked off after first match, but no he played all three.in batting he was worse no output atall .on the other hand irfan was the better choice for balling and as well as batting.
i think coach as well as capy should resign and non performing player should be warned ao kicked off.
