What is this going to mean for the future of international test cricket?

Do you think the Pakistani Team are going to go home in protest?

I'm really sad this has happened. We don't need this sort of thing in Cricket, causing friction and bad feeling between international sides. I only hope Darrel Hair had really really good evidence for making that accusation because otherwise he has done a lot of damage! Isn't he the same umpire who accused Murali about his action a few years ago??? Troublemaker?

Its the fans who are going to lose out in all this.

My BF has tickets to the Pakistan/England game at Cardiff Sophia Gardens on 30 August and he's getting his knicks in a twist that it will now be cancelled because Pakistan are refusing to come out and play.

I would imagine it is only this game that might be cancelled and the rest of the tour will go ahead as normal?

I hate this...Sachin is far better than Ganguly... Ganguly was a really good player until his opponents found one of his weakness and Ganguly is not able to overcome that weakness till now... If that happpens to Sachin he wud have worked a lot on it..took some advices from others and shud had seen the video of players who r good where he is bad...He is really a master batsman

ponting and shane warne have shattered the ethics of cricket one used graphite bats and made tons of centuries and icc only says dont use them because he is an ausiee and also shane warne how is playing cricket upto now i dont understand reported abuses drug taking and all those but still what is going on in Australian circket can any one answer please

The public has been duped about the politics going on between the Cricket Board. We only see that the reason behind withdrawing Saurav from the cricket team can't be just his poor form. Rather Saurav's performance was not worst or even bad in comparison to many players still prevalent in the team. The datas available can be compared with KAIF, SACHIN, LAXMAN even. (Navjot Sidhu itself explained the same comment on TV).
One of the best batsman in the world reaching milestones of centuries, test & one day runs & entertainment (with super sixes).
He deserved more times to be there not just as a captain but respect as a cricketer even his poor form declared to be the only reason (which is not the exact case).

But since now no big action or explanation has been sought? who seems to be accountable? & the bigger powers just repressing the heat for their financial/political/personal/social gains. The real truth seems to be just being deceived from the common man - woman
