The public has been duped about the politics going on between the Cricket Board. We only see that the reason behind withdrawing Saurav from the cricket team can't be just his poor form. Rather Saurav's performance was not worst or even bad in comparison to many players still prevalent in the team. The datas available can be compared with KAIF, SACHIN, LAXMAN even. (Navjot Sidhu itself explained the same comment on TV).
One of the best batsman in the world reaching milestones of centuries, test & one day runs & entertainment (with super sixes).
He deserved more times to be there not just as a captain but respect as a cricketer even his poor form declared to be the only reason (which is not the exact case).
But since now no big action or explanation has been sought? who seems to be accountable? & the bigger powers just repressing the heat for their financial/political/personal/social gains. The real truth seems to be just being deceived from the common man - woman

Ofcoure as u say he is axed from team not because of his poor form coz it used to be with every batsman in some season but if they say it is because of poor form then check it out from the following statistics taken from cricinfo.com
1. Ganguly is part of the top 10 players who has reached fastest 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 & on the top to reach 7000, 8000 and 9000 as well is within the top 3 of who reach 1000 runs.
2. Comparing with Sachin, ganguly is better match winning player and has smashed most sixes then Tendularkar do...
So dravid or chappel cant just ignore him saying his poor form coz in ODI it is important to score runs quickly so above demonstrate that he is a TOP CLASS ONE DAY BATSHMAN but ofcourse it may due to his attitude but performance wise GANGULY COMES FIRST AMONG ALL MODERN INDIAN CRICKET PLAYERS and he deserve to retire respectfully.
I am sri lankan & i am glad that we dont let a player be in sky as soon as he hit couple of 50's and get some wickets as indians do then kick them out and interupt the game when home team is lossing without showing any respect to visiting team.

Saurav no doubt is one of the best batsmen to play for India.Although he had short comings with the short ball he hung around gamely asking no quarters and giving none while he was the captain.He was aggressive when the Indians were on a roll and while Indians were performing badly his bad language is most visible and he gets irritated and starts shoting and yelling at his team mates which is not a good sign of a captain in command.He should have controlled his emotions but each player is different.Now he is dropped for his poor form and also couple of other things have joined to dent his confidence.The recent election of th CAB and The chairman of the selector Kiran More.
You cannot treat a player that too with over 10,000 runs in ODI and more than 7000 runs in tests.The selectors must have sat with him giving him option to choose his last match just like what they did to Steve Waugh.Saurav should have been told that this might be his last series and the seslectors should have given the options of a graceful exit from international cricket.
Rahul Dravid is doing excellent job as captain leading from the front,so saurav now time is over now as captain.Dravid is ideal captain and deserves to be given a longer run.Saurva is good captain as long as the going is good.But when the going gets tough he is found wanting.While Dravid is just the opposite.He gets going when the going gets tough.Hallmark of a true leader.

it s the politics of kiren more powar and other illetrate minds of the political member who are destroying Indian Cricket Team.....

whn u compare sachin @ sourav on the basis of period they played 2gether,even d statistics wud say sourav was on par vth sachin in terms of runs @ centuries scored in odis.
Also u cant ignore the fact He s one of the best match winners India had ever produced.
Form is Temporary class is permanent,He is a class act man.
He vl come back strongly.

you can't say so, i feel dravid is a better captain than ganguly. but still you can't compare.
ganguly doesn't perform so good but his shots are good. but still if he has to be in the team, someone's to be out! who should that be?
