Who do you think is going to Final Four? I believe it is UCLA, Memphis, Texas A&M, and North Carolina. Champion? UCLA all they way!!!

As most hoops fans have, I've watched alot of games the past week or so. One thing I've noticed is that a free throw percentage in the 70s is considered to be "good".

As often as free throws decide a game, why is there not more emphasis on such a basic fundamental as this? Does it really come down to players wanting the glory of a really sweet dunk or 3-pointer rather than the humdrum free throw?

Yes, I know that shooting in the 70s is a high percentage, but it really seems as if percentages in the 80s should be the benchmark for a "good" free throw shooting team/player.

Your thoughts? Thanks!

Selection Sunday is almost upon us, and though conference tournaments are still going on, who do you see as being the team picked as the overall #1 seed, as well as the other #1 seeds?

Thanks!

I am in girls basketball and my friend just told me girls aren't aloud to dunk and if they do the point won't count and the other team gets the ball do you think that is fair.

I think Kobe should still be suspended. First, he hit Manu, then Jaric, now he Kyle Korver. I think its disgusting how there letting him play right now. He's a menace to the NBA and is a dirty player. I think there letting him off the hook because of his reputation. Look at Ron Artest for instance, the NBA suspended him for a whole year for one incident, and now he is the most hated player in the NBA.

How could anyone land a prime coaching job like NC State, and still not have a couple of friends around to tell you "Coach, you look like the Cool-Aid guy in that bright red retna-burning coat"?
As a top level coach, you should be ready and willing to release the spotlight to your players, not actually wear the spotlight. He looks foolish.

"Larry Legend" was undoubtedly one of the greatest, most talented players in NBA history ... but I was never a fan (of his). I was, however, a fan of Chris Mullin. Team accomplishments aside, how does Chris compare to Larry Bird?

Who thinks the Warriors would make it to the playoffs?
I believe they have the talent to make it this year. Right now they have a 3-game winning streak now that we have Baron-D, J-Rich, Stephen-J and Harrington playing together I know we have a chance.

Ok i was looking over some NBA Draft years, and it seems my favorite player was in this(Gilbert Arenas) i didnt just like him either hes been my favorite player since the first year he was on the wizards plus he is on my Fav team....Wizards.....Gilbert went # 31 in the draft, but i was counting how many players are in the NBA or are big name players and i counted 30 players that were not in the NBA or are not big name players. So if you knew this a long time ago and you were GM of the washington wizards(#1 pick..wasted on that BUMMM Kwame Brown) well atleast he made the NBA so hes not really a bum but he sucks. So my question is would you have picked Gilbert Arenas, Pau Gasol, Jason Richardson, Eddy Curry, Joe Johnson, Richard Jefferson, or Zach Randolph first pick?

I would have still picked Gilbert
