There is currently no center that is a superstar and the only potiental center superstars are Amare Stoudimire and Dwight Howard, and neither is a TRUE CENTER. Half the seven footers of today have next to no skill. How long will it take for the center to disappear all together? Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

OR! Do you think the center WILL survive? If so, explain.

They both are great one is a power forward the other a center. One has 3 rings the other 4 rings. Tim Duncan has been All NBA 1st team every year since his rookie year, all star every year since rookie year as well. Two time NBA MVP, and is still continuing. Shaquille O' Neal, he's been an all star 13 times in his career. 1 time NBA MVP, 4 rings, and was inducted into the 50 greatest players of the NBA class. Who's better right now? Who will be better after both their careers are over? Big man of the Decade!

You have to admit they are the three main stars in the NBA right now.. Right in the frontline of things.. People just can't talk about the other without including the other two.. But they do have flaws in their game.. Let the crowd hear it..

What will it take to get the average sports fan to give Tim Duncan his due? What does it take to be considered one of the all-time greats?
Would he need multiple championships? What about averaging 20-10-2.5 plus for his career? All-NBA first team for an unprecedented 8 times in the 8 first years of his career? Could Duncan get some respect if he made an all-defensive team for nearly a decade consecutive? Start in the All-Star game for many years in a row? Or if he was among league leaders in scoring, shooting percentage, rebounding, getting to the free throw line, and blocking shots for that same time period? What if he showed the heart to score 41 points and 15 rebounds in a game 7 as his team is eliminated in one of the closest and most grueling playoff series of all time?

My brother says Kobe is a gunner and Iverson isn't. How is that? I verson led the league in shot attempts this season. I don't think they are ball hogs, they both are on garbage teams and if they don't put up big numbers their teams won't win. What do you think?
