Try jumping on a trampoline. Also do other excercises such as jumping up and trying to touch the rim and then jumping up again as soon as your feet touch the ground.

I am 6 feet tall or somewhere around that height and I can dunk two handed on a ten foot basketball hoop. Jumping on a trampoline may have helped improve my vertical leap.

Well, when jumping, don't rely only in your leg muscles. A good jump takes a strong back and good preparation in your foundation. The Jump should start with a good downward motion and the jump fallow though to the Toe Muscles.

Often an initial jump gets a better 2nd jump when connected and fluid.

You can actually buy training shoes to help you jump higher. They have a platform on the front that forces you to use your calves more. I used them in high school and increased my vertical by about 3 inches. They are actually the shoes that were featured on an episode of Seinfeld if you watch that show.

am 16 and i know how to jump higher u just got to practice trying to grab the rim and if u could grab the rim u know u got some jumping skills

Jump Squats, Lunges, Calf raises, Wall sits, Step ups, Mountain climbers. Also try walking around on your toes for as long as u can.

use ankle weights that you can adjust the amount of weight on. Start with a light amount and just jump up and down, and graduallly over a few weeks increase the weight.

Jump drills, we had them in cheerleading, dont see why they wouldn't work in any other sport.
Jump Jump JUMP practice makes perfect.

do some lunges,squats and jumprope every day. You'll be jumping higher a little more every week believe me.
