If i look in my hair in the mirror and say that it is perfect should i change it.
If god lets say is perfect why would he make us unless he wanted perfect to be perfected upon.
Thats not the question, the question is should we perfect something that is already perfect.

I am christen of sorts and I don’t want to become Wicca or a druid because that would take me down a path I don’t want to go and I have tried them a bit and they just don’t work for me. Anyhow, I want to try ceremonial magic and Enochian magic, as well as any thing not attached to religions. What can you tell me about magic in general? What is Enochian and ceremonial magic exactly? Tell me any thing and every thing.

If you understand what I just said then you deserve a brownie button.

Back yrs. ago I drank alot, knew it was getting out of hand. I lived out in the country. So, I called the AA hotline for help. A woman called me back,I told her about the drinking and she asked me "do you believe in God?" I said no not really so she said "well I cannot help you." and hung up. I drove when drunk got caught and spent my time and money as I should. Now i think back that if that call had worked out for me, I may never have drank again. Either way is that any way to run a hot line? And for a God fearing person to treat another?

I seen it too many times. Every person I've ran into who tells me they don't believe in God is really looking for a way to not be accountable. They look around the world and say "well...it just happened, and they quote some ever changing science rant about ufo's or humans came from boiling slim from nothing..NO way do they believe that..I not buying that. My daughter went through this phase in college..it lasted about 5 years, I never said a thing but she loved the "Shock Value" And thats why they write the way they do..they want to shock us with their outrage...and the never ending "I can think for myself"...as if look: "I'm a Big Boy/Girl"..I can think on my own..they believe thats some sort of intellectual revelation...that was my daughters chant as well... I see the same thing here. But they come here and on every Christian chat..why..because they know, they come to reassure themselves..they know they are more than a land rat eating, sleeping, death

Am I right or wrong?

Free will is about making choices from given options. If God knows he is going to make choice B tomorrow at 9:00 AM, then he can't choose to do choice A or C instead. He has no choice, but to choose A like the script says, just like a character in a movie can't suddenly decide to change the story already written. If he can't choose, he doesn't have free will (and isn't all powerful either). If he does have free will then he couldn't know the future ahead of time (and wouldn't be all knowing either). To be all knowing and all powerful (omnisense and omnipotent) is to be an oxymoron, or a round triangle.

I mean a really good, make you say " oh my god " psychic. Not any phonies, just a truly good intuitive. Not one where I'll walk away feeling I've just gotten general information from. One that goes into depth and knows/sees what they are talking about.
Also, I am definitly not well to do. I need good rates.
Thank you so much for all that can help me on this subject!

, and every year Morris would say, "Esther, I 'd like to ride in that helicopter".
Esther always replied, "I know Morris, but that helicopter ride is fifty dollars -- and fifty dollars is fifty dollars".

One year Esther and Morris went to the fair, and Morris said, "Esther, I'm 85 years old. If I don't ride that helicopter, I might never get another chance."

Esther replied, "Morris that helicopter is fifty dollars -- and fifty dollars is fifty dollars".

The pilot overheard the couple and said, "Folks I'll make you a deal. I'll take the both of you for a ride. If you can stay quiet for the entire ride and not say a word I won't charge you! But if you say one word, it's fifty dollars."

Morris and Esther agreed and up they went. The pilot did all kinds of fancy maneuvers, but not a word was heard. He did his daredevil tricks over and over again, but still not a word. When they landed, the pilot turned to Morris and said, "By golly, I did everything I could to get you to yell out, but you didn't. I'm impressed!"

Morris replied, "Well, to tell you the truth, I almost said something when Esther fell out, but you know -- fifty dollars is fifty dollars."

Ancient views on the God of Abraham grew as the essential strength in the foundation for later development of the religions Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Of course, these three have numerous differences between them, developed over centuries, yet a kinship in faith cannot be denied as the God of Abraham was at the center so long, long ago.

Proving atheism is harder to do than proving the existence of God. The atheist says, “There is no God.” To know this for sure, the atheist must know everything, or the one thing he does not know may be the evidence for God. To say emphatically, “There is no God”, the atheist must be all knowing, a tribute of God himself. One might argue that if the atheist is all knowing, then he IS God, therefore he cannot be an atheist!
To prove there is a God, however, one can choose from many sources of evidence. (Something exists, therefore something has always existed... something cannot come from nothing; Scientific information is in the Bible written before some of these facts were "discovered"; The harmony of the Bible written over 1500+ years by about 40 different authors; The devotion of the apostles and profits to the point of death. If a hoax, why suffer?, etc.) To prove God, one can choose from one or many pieces of evidence.
So if you say "there is no God", prove it!

i love this site:

http://www.godchecker.com/
Godchecker.com - Your Guide To The Gods. Mythology with a twist!

It's such a powerful statement about human's imagination, to me. I mean, they have 1 or 2000 gods on there! Having them all together like that makes it undeniable to me that we have had a deep fear of the fact that we are mortal (in the long term), and destructable (in the short term); vs immortal (in the long term) and indestructible and invincible (in the short term).

We have sought always, wherever our species has lived on this planet, to invent in our minds the idea of an all-good, all-knowing and all-powerful god (- especially in the middle east, or, in other places, gods) that will look after us.

The undeniable thing about this site is that god is a subjective experience, and cannot be experienced objectively. Why? because there are so many gods. if there was just one god, then godchecker.com would only have one god.

great site huh?
