I depends. I pray all through the day. I pray for situations that come up. I pray for people at work, walking down the street, for an old friend that pops into my mind. I give thanks to God often. But if I had to give an average....5 to 20 times per day.

It varies, day by day. Things during the day that I see, or think of, prompt me to pray. I could see a person walking down the street and think of something to pray about. Or see something on TV, or in the papers. Or a thought comes to mind about a person. Or I notice myself about to do or say something I shouldn't, and ask for strength to resist doing what I know is wrong.

As the bible says "pray without ceasing!"

Twice a day I spend about a half hour in prayer and song. Then short prayers throughout the day. I don't know how many--I've never counted.
