just curious. i love this show Without Prejudice and i was just like wow okay a question! so if you see a black person do you make any judgments based SOLELY on the fact that they're black? white ppl? and so on...or if you meet a black, asian, or hispanic person do you judge them based on whether or not they are dark/light skinned with ethnic/non ethnic features??

personally i think people who do this are extremely ignorant but you know thats just me. maybe because ive been exposed to diverse environments and different cultures its never been second nature to judge based on skin tone. i choose to judge based on character and behavior. im black too so i wouldnt want anyone judging me like that even though im sure they do.

I lived in Europe for nearly 3 months on the Deutschland/Nederlands (Germany/Netherlands) border, and I was shocked at how much Europeans hate each other (maybe even more then they hate the U.S.). Every time I went to Nederlands, and explained I was a U.S. citizen living in Germany, the Dutch would **** a brick. "why do you live with those skinhead nazi *****"." Same with the Germans when I would say, No, I'm going into Nederlands today, "why would you want to go to see the Dutch? Who gives a **** about the Dutch". This attitude was prevalent towards any country. I would even go as far as to say that most Europeans seem to like Americans (although not our government) more then they like other Europeans. Is this all a legacy from WWI/WWII/The Cold War? I have lived in the D.C. area my whole life, so it is ridiculous to me that people from different cultures can't get along. So what is the basis for Europeans (in general, not limited to German/Dutch) distaste for one another?

I have always been the person that works quickly and always needs something to work on while at work. At home it can be a different story. But I always feel guilty about not having anything to do and being a salaried worker. So I am obligated to stay the rest of the day. I've even gotten a weeks worth of work done in two days before, when I was taking my time....and I really was going at a pace anyone else would.

In reading posts of late, I've noticed a fair number of misconceptions about Canadians in general. So that leads me to wonder....what is your perception of the Canadian people?

Maybe they could all converge in a "Hate" section, and get it all of their system!
Or would they post in other sections, anyway, because they so love to "spread the hate around"?

I'm sorry but I have to get this off my chest.

The judge Roy Pearson, who lost a 54 million dry cleaning lawsuit had filed an appeal with the court, essentially, continuing on with the lawsuit.

The Chungs (dry cleaner owners) admit their mistake, had offered $3,000 to replace the missing pants prior to the original court hearing, and had even asked the judge not to fine Roy Pearson during the verdict for the payment of their own legal fees ($85,000). Now this judge is at it again, finding a way to get these dry cleaners.

As a side: WTF!!!!! Is this Roy guy for real? I mean the dry cleaners admit mistake, offered compensation and was gracious enough to foot their own legal bills when it could have gone his way? WTF?

Am I thinking level headed here? Is it just me or is this guy Roy Pearson just out to get vendetta after getting his ego bruised?
