Breaking someones heart,people have been known to die because of heartbreak...can't get much worse than that

Isolate them from society, that's why prisoners are losing their minds in solitary confinement. Prisons are doing this now as a normal prison stay where it used to be used as punishment, isolation from others screws us up in the end.

Probably socialism. Under socialism, individualism is lost. Morality is relative to whatever the state wishes it to be. There is no hope. The family unit is destroyed. Liberty is gone. The spirit is broken. In fact pretty much everything we, as free men, hold precious is gone.
