I was watching Flavor Flav getting roasted and there was a couple of hurricane Katrina jokes, and in many places, and t.v shows, i've heard Hurricane katrina jokes. When did it become okay, to make jokes about it?

Shortly after it happened. the first I read was "Katrina, the bl*w job New Orleans will never forget."

It's ok as long as the jokes aren't racist or mean spirited.

I lost my home (home, not housing projects) in mississippi thanks to that storm but i still think the "I got blown by Katrina" and "thanks fema for making me trailer trash" jokes are funny. They kinda lighten the mood about the situation.
