Prince Harry recently won a "battle" to go to Iraq and serve there as a soldier, against the wishes of the British military (and probably of the public as well). Should members of the American elite who feel strongly about the cause in Iraq also go there (and not for a political face showing visit to beat the propaganda drum) and serve in the war that is their own brainchild- Hillary Clinton, Bush, John McCain, and any and all others who feverently support the war and feel it is an absolute necessity? If they did go over and personally do battle as a show of support instead of from a safe distance15,000 miles away, do you think the general attitude towards this conflict would change significantly? Should congress pass legislation in the future to require those who vote in favor of a war to either serve personally in that war, or require their children to do so if those in question are not physically capable?

Getting a perspective from someone else's point of view. Why do they expect anyone who smokes cigarettes or marijuana to be stupid? Especially with marijuana, I hate it when people tell you it is a terrible thing when they haven't tried it.

I don't understand, I get that it's illegal and everyone bases their opinion on "oh it's illegal, it must be horrible."

Please, tell me your perspective WITHOUT a simple "it's stupid, don't do that ****, you're retarded."

I feel like there's more emotionless, soulless music coming out now. And a lot seem to be degrading women and talking about these useless things.

"Music can change the world." I believe that. But on the route that it's taking right now, in the U.S., I don't know if it'll change for the better.

Maybe I'm just listening to the wrong things and not looking in the right places.

I'm doing a survey what people's perceptions are on National Geographic, this can include the magazine, the tv channel, their books, etc. I would love if you could describe them in 5 words or less. Any extra comments/thoughts/opinions are welcome as well.

Who agrees with me that we are treated like THE SCUM OF THE EARTH. Nobody is interested in us, we have no clout, everybody mistrusts us and we are the bottom of everybody's pile in this PC world and are continually picking up everybody elses pieces.....Or is it just my imagination or have I just had a bad day.......?

Do you think that people who are always happy with things and seem very oblivious to world events are Happier? If so is that right? Is it ok to refuse to see the negative things in life in order to be happy? It seems that people have desensitized from feeling the pain of the chaos of this world. Any thoughts?!

Met a preacher going door to door w/ some kids, inviting people to a new church opening up down the road, and he was driving a new 7 series BMW.

God's word pays well I guess.

Based on movie characters, except for the obvious; women like wealthy men with big houses and expensive cars, what type of men do women like?

1. The serious Casino Royal Bond type? Face, I mean.
2. The no-emotion sunglasses Terminator 2 type? Again face.
3. The cannot-lie attorney, like in Liar, Liar?
4. The stupid redneck "get-er-done?" type? (I hope not!).
5. Or something else?

My wife says serious, tall, dark hair, white, blue eyes, and rich!

Every time I go to buy new ones the disign has changed. I use curtain rings now - No problems.
I have a high flush loo that has been running for 150 years.
My clock I wind up each week and that also was made over 100 years ago. My point is. Why are we producing all these batteries, plastics and other wasteful and enviromentally damaging products that are only designed to make the manufacturers money. We standardise nothing in this world. Every washing machine, car, vacuume cleaner etc are different, but do the same job. Why is joe public being told to seperate his/her rubbish, when the real culprits are big manufactures creating wastful designs for big profits.
What do you think?
