Are you directley affected in your day to day life by slavery? Or is slavery some thing that you never think about unless you are taking an American history class or reading about in the news?

these poor people produce food for us, but they themselves live below the poverty line, they and their children are deprived of electricity, education, good nutrition, and even the basic ammenities of life, what should be done to improve the condition of these great people who work so hard for us and get nothing in return.......

Who would agree that all of the laws, passed by New Labour, designed to give children immunity from any kind of legal action being taken against them have turned them into the wild, feral individuals that they are, they seem to think they are totally and completely invincible, reinforced by a story I read in a newspaper saying that there are gangs as young as 8 terrorising neighbourhoods and even the police are powerless to stop them. It would appear that the laws that were passed on the pretext of protecting children, children themselves have turn this around to give them this impermeable protection that no-one can get to them through? I haven't mentioned about the parents because if they allow their offspring to do this stuff unchecked, they clearly do not care about their children and as far as I'm concerned they are a waste of space! If these are the people we are supposed to be saving the planet for, whats the point? They'll destroy it if we don't!

Its depressing and people agree with me about this. All the excitement I had in my teens and 20s travelling round California and Europe following Queen with like minded fans/stalkers seem just a wonderful memory. Id like to think I could travel around the US again and go coast to coast like ive done a couple of times but it seems once your married thats it. My marriage is a mess and I intend to start out again soon by myself, but it seems noone in their 40s does anything except go on package holis as the hightlight of their year. I mean I think going to bed (by myself as I have no bed companion) is my fave time of day at mo, when I spread out in my PJs cuddle my pillow, listen to Virgin and fantasise about my fave celeb Robbie W. OK I need to grow up but I just dont want to! Anyone agree?

You can see it in their facial expressions, you can see it in the way they walk, you see it in cities all over the continent. I have traveled all over the North American continent and women are the same just about everywhere in the U.S. and Canada. You don't see too many women in other parts of the globe (save parts of Europe) waging psychological wars on men they don't even know, men who have done nothing wrong to them. So what explains for the major attitude problem that the vast majority of women here possess?
