I wanted to know what people think about this. When I was in the Navy a white girl told me I didn't act like a regular black guy, this wannabe white rapper told me one time this he was more blacker than me also. Anyway with the rise of hip-hop, and blacks in popular sports, and entertainment, it's seems a lot of black males are suppose behave a certian type of way thanks to stereotypes. Some stereotypes more offensive than others but all of them are mostly about a few blackmen and have nothing or very little to do with the rest of us. I see so many young boys in my family and on the streets trying to live up to these things they see on MTV and BET. What happens when has a black man you cannot express you differently because people assume you act and like only certain things. What do you all think?
