all traces will be forgotten when the people who knew you (rather than knew of you) have gone also.
All that would be left for even the most revered or reviled persons would be history books.
And like the bible storybook, the history of an individual will be sanitised to only show the good (or only the bad) points of someones life - it would not show the true 'you' .

Unless someone is an avid family historian and starts to look up your birth, marriage and death certificates, then yes, no doubt all traces of you will be forgotten.

no not really i would become the first MEXICAN president of the united states of america and take the borders down so all mexicans can come to live here in america and im going to make history big time.

i hope not-i would like to think i will do or achieve something in my life which is good enough to be remembered in the future. or have children and grandchildren who will continue to tell their children what i did in the world with my time!

traces of you will only remain if there is anyone left to remember you, sad but true.

might be an old photo left around somewhere. and there are always official documents like the census and of course your gravestone. your d.n.a will survive in your grand children and great gran-children so a bit of you will be around

no i belive you will become a kind of spirit of some sortthat only people who were close to you can feel!! but it all just depends what you belive x
