Other than tax laws, our laws are morality based, especially the criminal codes.

The foudation of nearly all human laws have ALWAYS been founded in rreligion, be it Christian, Judiaism, Islam, Taoism, Bhuddism.
You name it and any part of the orld will have it's laws founded in the region's prevalant reigions.
So why in America (a coutry founded purposely on Biblical, Christian values) is there such a current backlash againt t now?

I come from a ethnicaly diverse family and am proud of it. When I have to fill out any type of form that specifies race i usually check off everything. Some forms say you can fill out only one race so i check off other. The law in the United States says if you have 1/16th of black blood you are to be considered black. I personally think it is stupid to have to pick a race as I was raised that there is only one race but, many different ethnicities. I think thats the reason we can't get along in this beautiful country of ours we are so busy saying we are Black, Irish, Jewish, Italian and some where along the line we forget we should be American first. I am proud of all the varities I have that make me me! I hate having to quantify my self for anyone. Why not just accept me for me?

I am amazed at the inability of the majority of people to see the hypocracy in it.
simply put
"don't tell me what to do!",
is the simplest example I can think of on this subject.

Apparently I am because I'm proud and unashamed of being white. It seems that it's OK to be proud of who and what you are otherwise, like if you are black, Hispanic, Asian, etc. Don't you just love the double standards of the 21st century? I don't understand why it's OK to hate white people and people who are unashamed or proud of being white, but it isn't acceptable to hate anyone else for their race or color. If you say that you're proud to be white or that you like anyone else who is white because they represent your race or ethnicity then you are considered a racist. On the other hand, a black person or a person of any another race can do the exact same thing for the exact same reason and that is supposed be acceptable according to our wharped society's double standards? I think what is acceptable for one race should be acceptable for all races. I'm not going to run around with my head hung in shame because I'm white. I'm also not acting as if I should be apologetic for something.

Years ago my mother in law told me that when you enter a hotel room that you need to check every mirror for possible two way mirrors.

The way to do this is to put your finger on the mirror and if it looks as if your finger is touching the reflection then it is a two way. If your finger is seperated from the reflection then it is fine.

I am in hotels 5 days a week an for the first time I am in a hotel room where there is a mirror on the wall that fits the description of a two way mirror. To top it off this mirror is unmovable. I can't take it off the wall or even see behind it.

Have I come across a two way mirror?

Just like, run down communities and high crime areas. Poor communities, create jobs by building new communities, summer camps, educational facilities for poor children, children on welfare,
rebuild our cities and beautify the places where we live?
I realise some rich people do these sorts of things, but it isn't as visible as it could be. It dosen't seem to be too dominate where I live and in the state I live in.

I've seen many question on YA, complaining that blacks have the history month, BET, etc. Have you seen BET. It's must be some of the worst programing on television. Why does this type of stuff make some whites upset with blacks?

i was looking at a picture of barron trump (domald trump's child) and thinking that this baby doesn't even know a lick about money yet. what he was born into means he will have the best of everything... yet if he had happened to be born just five seconds earlier or five miles away to another family, his entire life would turn out to be so different from what's in store for him.

and warren buffett, who can manage money, but cannot manage to spend it. it's a totally different way of living from anything i'm used to.

can the very wealthy really have whatever they want? or do you think they have needs like the rest of us that must sometimes go unmet? why?
