No, the rise in violence isn't caused by TV and Music. Though there certainly are instances that it may be the case, they are an exception to the rule and not the driving force behind violence.
It has long been understood that a rise in poverty and desperation leads to violent crimes. That is why it is so important to fight poverty. When we do, we fight crime too!

Over crowd rats and see what happens. Sometimes they eat each other, mostly it turns to violence. For them, it has nothing to do with TV or music. I don't believe TV or movies are much influence.

Yes, people see thousands of violent segments on TV every year, & sometimes it influences trouble for the people who have problems with certain situations.
As far as the music is concerned, hopefully it doesn't influence too much, & is an outlet especially for teens to identify with!

I don't! I believe that any rise in violence is because there are more people than before, and that violence per capita of population is about the same.

Actually, believe it or not, I think violence has been decreasing (as has murder) - you should read "Freakonomics." It's a great book - interesting facts & trivia, as well as explanation of causes (some of them are not intuitive).

it comes a lot from the news, ppl preceive the world as a bad place b/c the news media only likes murders, scandals, sex videos, etc etc
