i was looking at a picture of barron trump (domald trump's child) and thinking that this baby doesn't even know a lick about money yet. what he was born into means he will have the best of everything... yet if he had happened to be born just five seconds earlier or five miles away to another family, his entire life would turn out to be so different from what's in store for him.

and warren buffett, who can manage money, but cannot manage to spend it. it's a totally different way of living from anything i'm used to.

can the very wealthy really have whatever they want? or do you think they have needs like the rest of us that must sometimes go unmet? why?

Rich people can own any *material* object that is available for purchase, within reason. But that doesn't make personal-relationships easier. You can't buy love. Rich people have to worry about people liking/using them just for the money, so I'd think meaningful relationships would be MORE difficult. Research has found that money only makes a difference in happiness if you don't have enough to get by (e.g., close to poverty). Otherwise, money is like anything else - if you come into it, you will be happy....for a while.... but eventually you adapt and it becomes the norm - then it will take even MORE money or something greater to bring that surge of happiness.

No. The very wealthy do not always get whatever they want. Everyone has needs and a God shaped void in his/her heart.

That void cannot be filled with fame and fortune. I personally am not wealthy at all. In fact, probably the complete opposite.

However, I do know that what most people strive for in life is merely to be happy. Happiness comes from obedience. All the rest will follow.

Happiness is not achieved by having deep pockets. You can shop 'till you drop or buy the largest mansion in the world; however, all material eventually turns into dust.

No matter how much you gain in life, always be willing to give from the heart in return and, then, you will truly find happiness and a life of blessing.

Wealthy people can't have anything they want. They could try but think can they buy people happiness or love. These things really can't be bought even if they feel they have they really don't understand. Let's say you go to the store and buy something they can buy that. Then lets say that they are depressed because they feel insecure about themselves of course you can buy plastic surgery but in the end they really don't know what they want. Money changes things because you can't buy friends only if they want to use you, or love from your family you see most of the celebs on TV today they get divorced soon after they are married. So I think that they don't really get everything they want including freedom.

there are a few things they cant have:
-the feeling of wanting something
-earning or finally getting what they wanted
-knowing for sure people dont like them wholly or partly for their money
- style (a lot of rich people have a terrible sense of style)

Basically there is nothing worse than not having anything to want, not just inanimate objects but sometimes animate objects are easily had with money as well.

For someone like Warren Buffett im sure nothing is simple anymore.

If Barron Trump had been born 5 seconds earlier, what difference would that have made? Would Donald have disowned him for coming too early?

No matter how wealthy one is, there are always things out of reach. Things that money cannot buy. Material things don't make for happiness.
