I am all for my children learning a second language but I would prefer they learn a more useful European language. Why are we having more Arabic culture forced on us?

How can I teach my students the past perfect tense, without mentioning the rule or the fact that I'm teaching them past perfect?
I mean through easy examples, how could I do that, and get them involved, and also any ideas for a nice activity?
Thank you...
My students are learning english as a second language, so I've got to keep it simple

I've seen Spanish films (or Castellano films, whatever) from Spain, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and also some Venezuelan and Colombian soap operas. They all speak Spanish with various accents (which is fascinating by the way). I often wonder if the Spanish didn't invade these countries, what language would everybody there speak today?

And my country has been under the British, Dutch and Japanese rule for 490 years, still, we didn't lose our national language and it stays as beautiful as ever (albeit some borrowed words from Dutch and English). So how did all the Latin American languages became extinct?

The balance sheet is a stock statement, which is a snapshot of the microfinance institution at a moment in time. The statement reflects what the MFI owns and *what is owed to it* (assets), what it owes others (liabilities), and the difference between the two (equity or net assets). The balance sheet shows the net worth of an institution at that moment.

this is not a programking, nor does it mean the f-word. it is just a weird language that some of my friends speak. they claimed to have learned it in one day. it sounds like rubbish and yet they can understand each other. besides, it doesn't seem to be some kind of secret language, when my friends spoke it in front of our teacher, my teacher asked if they were speaking the f language. does anyone know about it?
