I want to make my boyfirend a mixed cd for Valentine's day, but i'm not really sure what to put on it. He likes a lot of different music, but his favorites inculde: eighties like Duran Duran, Acid Rock, And Jazz (he plays the trumpet).
Any suggestions of what to put on the cd?

Also, I wan't to get him a little something else like a box of choclates. Is this a good idea, and if so any other ideas for another small gift?

Here's a bit about him so you have something to think on:
He likes - Zombies, writing, setting things on fire, creativity, the arts (especially painting), chuck taylors, The book "Pay It Forward", kisses, Ferris Bueller, and much more.

Okay, so me & my boyfriend are both 16 and have been going out for about 7 months. And im having trouble on thinking of something i could get him. Any good gift ideas??? I'm trying to steer clear of the whole card or flowers thing. Hello All, I am just curious as to who out there thinks that Valentines Day is worth all the fuss? Me personally I think it has to be one of the worst holidays that is in existence. If my man was to spend 80 dollars on a dozen roses I would be so pissed. Wait a day and take me to dinner, movies and the roses for the same price. Oh wait I forgot that if you need a holiday to show someone you love them then you are just a moron. I also think that it should also include men. All the ads are make her happy?!? What about him. Most couples I think realize that it's a 50 50 thing and if you are going to give something you BOTH should do it. Does anyone out there think that this is a good way to spend money? Or make her happy?

We have been going out for almost a week now, but we were really good friends before we started going out. We have held hands, but no more. His parents don't know that we're going out, so I don't want it to be obvious to his parents that I got him something. Also, hes in high school and I'm in junior high, so we only see each other from a distance in the hallways because other wise, we'll be late for class. Since he'll be expecting sex for valentines I think I 'll surprise him by tucking the kids away early the night before valentines (I'll run them hard till 7:30 then give them cough syrup and begin the bedtime routine, one extra dose of that cant hurt them) I think that will surprise him.
