Okay, so me & my boyfriend are both 16 and have been going out for about 7 months. And im having trouble on thinking of something i could get him. Any good gift ideas??? I'm trying to steer clear of the whole card or flowers thing. We dont go to the same school so we dont get to see each other as often as we'd like so I want to give him something more meaningful and special. Also, im not trying to spend a whole lot seeing as how his birthday passed a few weeks ago and i bought him concert tickets.

OK very cheesy but I did it for my guy at the time and he was 27 and absolutely loved it. I went to Wal-Mart and bought a cheap valentine scrap book kit with lots of stickers and little love trinkets ($4.00), in the craft section there are little wooden boxes with cute little buckles to close it ($2.00 or less), then I got glitter glue pens to decorate the box ($4.00).

I decorated the box with the pens ( I wrote our initials on the top and a heart with a arrow through it) then cut little pieces of paper with messages about the things we have shared and cute messages about the things I love about him etc, and sealed each one with the stickers from the scrap book. I wrapped it in a little box, then got a bigger box and wrapped it in there then I took a big box and filled it with tissue paper that was sprayed with the perfume he loves the best on me then wrapped it!

I think it's just enough of what you need, not expensive at all and very thoughtful. I hope I gave you a good idea.... you can always add this gift with something else if you want to give more. There's not even a card necessary for this gift!

Okay... just an idea. But Im treating my boyfriend to a scavenger hunt. My first clue will be sent to his house with a shovel sending him to the place that I asked him out 12 years ago. Then marked with a red X on the ground there will be a wooden chest (small) buried with a picture of us and a new clue.... each one with a map and a small inexpensive gift and a clue to the next place. The last one will have a room key in it... and I will be waitying for him in something sexy... with lots of candles around. Its also his birthday that day... so, I will have a small cake for just us two.

Being a pragmatic chap i like presents that i will use, e.g. a series of spanners, or some engine oil. this variety of element isn't for everybody although... or you need to in basic terms decide for beer.
