ok my friend is a jehovah and i don't know if i should get them somthing know that they don't celebrate holidays should i still get them something or no????

My grandparents are in their early 70's and not very active.
They are finacially stable, and anything they need or want, they get themselves. Every year I struggle to get them a nice gift and usually end up getting them a gift certificate to a restaurant.

This year I want to do something better than usual, yet still stay around $25 total.

Any ideas would be great.
(I am a single girl- oldest grandchild- in my mid 20's)

Today is my birthday and I realized that my personal new year (my goals, hopes, aspirations) is always renewed and that I do most of the assesing of my past year on my birthday, as opposed to the traditional calender January 1 new year. For people not born in January do you measure your personal life in the year between birthdays or in the year between Januarys?

ok, from my understanding, kwanza wa created so that whatever culture celebrates it could have a holiday, cuz Jews have hanukah, and Christians(and most of the world) have christmas, Kwanza is completely pointless, why the hell was it created?
