Christmas for us is a celebration of our faith as well as the gathering of our families and friends. We exchange gifts with one another but we don't make that the focus. For us, it is the time spent together laughing over old times, remembering those that have passed, watching our children marvel over all the traditions, being able to share in some terrific feasts and creating new memories to cherish. I am fortunate that my family genuinely gets along with one another, so the holidays are a time for us to really spend some great quality time together.

For myself and my family, Christmas is about spending time with family, friends and loved ones. We really don't involve religion in it at all (with the exception of the music).

Let's face it...the religious aspect of Christmas has been done away with long ago. Christians are free to celebrate Christ, but non-Christians simply adopt all that is good in the holiday season, and eliminate that for which they have no need.

Christmas first of all means celebrating of my lord and savior Jesus Christ. Christmas also means spending time with your families or traveling to spend time with your families. It also means that it is time to give(The Season of Giving).

Quality time with my family. A chance to make everyone happy by getting them what they want. Turkey dinner. Gleeful anticipation. Appreciation for all that I have. Warm jackets. Pretty lights. Caroling. Crowded malls. Love.

Family, exchanging love with the people who are important to me. Walking around on a cold day and seeing young children playing with new toys. It is simply a day of joy.
