I just got engaged a week before Christmas this year and want to give my fiancé a memorable valentines gift any suggestions? Preferably nothing to expensive because we are trying to save money for the big. Unfortunately I have to also work 24 hours on Valentines day which puts a big dent in making plans.

I wanted a huge party for my birthday, because my other partys have been really boring. ( My party last year was a hike!) So, I really wanted a big party this year. My parents said that was fine, so I planned a huge party and told my friends about it, however a few days ago my mom cut my party buget in more then half! Do you think this is fair? I don't. It would be different if i haven't spent 2 MONTHS planning and told my friends about it! What do I do? Do you think it is fair???

OK So my husband and I were going to do something on the weekend for V-day. I wanted to know which weekend should be celebrate Valentine's day? The weekend b4 or the weekend after. We are doing something on Wednesday the 14th but we have 3 kids and we want a weekend getaway. Thank for your help!!!

At work, we do this "Secret Cupid" thing where we pick names and then get little gifts, etc. for our coworker. Sort of like a secret Santa thing. I just happened to pick my Bosses name. Any unique or creative ideas of things I can do for her? (*maybe an opportunity to get some "brownie" points?)
