I always look forward to it, partner or not. Like my mum, after my dad died, she still enjoyed the day. I was old enough to buy her sweets and we would remember the love of her life!

I don't not look forward to it, however, I don't see it as of any major significance, although this may be due to the fact that I've never received a Valentine's Day card.
Just another day for me. . .

I'm single and couldn't care less. Too busy with my studies (and Yahoo Answers he he..) to even think about it. Just noticed it's on a wednesday and not weekend, great! It's so pathetic, it's all tables of two in restaurants when you go out. It's a funny picture, just wouldn't want to be in it lol. If you're in a relationship, best to stay in with a home cooked dinner and a nice bottle of wine :)

anyone who works in a florist or candy shop - hates the day.
but the day is good for those who want to express their feelings for their loved ones. It's a good time to remember aunts, uncles, grand parents and parents - while they are not your romantic interest - they do most likely love you and want you to be happy. So why not make them happy by sending them a card or a box of chocolates?

I hate it, with a passon!!! Yeah, I'm seeing someone & I do send him a card & pressie, but I still deteste it. Okay, I'm 32 now, but I was the fat kid at school, the spotty fat swotty kid, used only 'cos I knew all of the answers. They didn't think I could hear the sniggering behind my back.
Yeah, I'm now a size 14, but hate it, for all those fat kids & those like my gran, who've lost loved ones.xxx

It's such a ripoff - you pay triple the price for a couple of half dead roses and double the cost of a meal just because it's the 14th feb. No thanks, me and my man totally ignore the day - it's just too cheesey!

It's a huge scam. Why do you have to show your love this ONE day, what about evrey other day of the year? I have better things to do.
