Is there a certain religion or place in the world that denies citizenship to a specific group of people? Perhaps women, members of another religion, etc...?

In modern times, that is. I know that the ancient Greeks denied it to women, slaves and peasants.

It is the idea that like minded people can form a community oriented around a common concept, i.e. religion, homosexuality, bdsm, nudist. Is this idea viable and is it beneficial? Would it lessen social tension by allowing people to customize their environment or would it end up being de facto segregation? Could this lead to intentional nations?

how can they have one rule for one and one for another. Its outrageous.

Also theres always talk of banning hoodies. Why are muslims allowed to wear there head scalves.

I dont wear hoodies myself.

You could say its discrimination against hoodies.

So, I'm the only Asian student at my high school and I feel really uncomfortable. Many times I have been insulted because of my race by white and black students. They keep saying I'm Chinese even though I'm not. I'm Vietnamese. And it really hurts my feelings. I wanted to cry but I held it in so that no one would see. I didn't tell anyone- not my friends or parents. I'm tired of holding these thoughts and feelings inside. This has been going on since 7th grade, now I'm in eighth. Please help. I don't know what to do.

Are you proud of being one? I mean, we haven't really done something to stand out. I'm not saying that we're supposed to, but since we're not really considered asian anymore and we're in our group, there's nothing that makes us known. Sure you can say that Filipinos have caring families and work hard, and it could be true. But that's about it. It "could" be true. In fact, it could be true for any race, so it does matter, but you can't lump everyone like that.
