I'm pretty sure that the media can take responsibility for the labelling of generations.

As far as I can tell, you're missing the "Me Generation", the "Now Generation", and the most recent one, the "Entitlement Generation".

Technically who needs a name...

The Boomers were called that for a reason, as far as I know Gen X wasn't meant to be a good term... then it just took off with names for all of them...

labeling for Generations is mostly a marketing tool meaningless and in some cases demeaning.

The only Generation to every earn it's title and to have the title bestowed with the up most respect The Generation that brought us though World War II
