im black, yes i know this for a fact, but some black people where i live really pisses me off!! im not a racist, cause well, alt least i think im not, but damn!! in oakland, ca, theres a lot of black people around here that act like yeah...im gonna say it a buch of *******!! because of this, most people here think that all black people are like that and thats totally not the case...for example, when i chat with people and theyre like what race are u, i say black and theyre all....i wouldnt have guessed that cause a lot of black people acy ghetto and all that...well, thats just a stereo type...not all black people act that way...what im trying to say is...becuase i sometimes despise some if not most of the black people that live where i live, am i a racist or something like that?

Is there anyone out there who hated another race until they actually took the time to get to know someone personally of the race they hated? If this is you, can you please say what you were wrong about! And are you glad you took the time to know a person instead of stereotyping the whole race.

They (the african americans) have a big ball dance in my city every year. I guess I can't go because I am white. Excuss me for being white. This may raise some eyebrows, but I am trying to understand it all. What do you think would happen if we (the white race) had a White american ball? So far I have joined a few forum and discussion groups of diverse topics and interests, and I never seem to get a personal welcome from the members. I am very nice and I don't post things that would give them a reason to dislike me. In fact, I would say I blend in almost too well, and members often treat me as if I were an old-timer instead of a newbie. I have noticed that sometimes when another newbie posts something that is a little more controversial or more likely to provoke an emotional reaction, they get welcomed much more readily.

This is not a huge deal but it is a mystery to me and I would appreciate it if you could help me figure this out.

I am a caucasian HISPANIC. I am not an anglo. Mexicans are not Hispanic. Their origins are not fully Spain. Hispanic means like Ururguay and the Spaniards of Argentina and Spain. Ok, I've heard it time and time again, Jewish is a race. I've searched other answers and they don't exactly tell me what I want to hear. Listen up, how is Jewish a race if one can be converted to a Jew? Another thing that counters it being a race is the whole 'your mother has to be a jew' thing. What characteristics does it have that makes it a race, where did all jews decend from? I just don't understand, it seems more of a culture/religion than a race.

my mom looks like her white grandpa and her grandma was part polish spain and indian and other grandma was full indian from mexico and other white grandpa from mexico her grandpa looked white but she doesnt but she has has white features plus her skin is darker than his and she doesnt have his blonde hair
