im black, yes i know this for a fact, but some black people where i live really pisses me off!! im not a racist, cause well, alt least i think im not, but damn!! in oakland, ca, theres a lot of black people around here that act like yeah...im gonna say it a buch of *******!! because of this, most people here think that all black people are like that and thats totally not the case...for example, when i chat with people and theyre like what race are u, i say black and theyre all....i wouldnt have guessed that cause a lot of black people acy ghetto and all that...well, thats just a stereo type...not all black people act that way...what im trying to say is...becuase i sometimes despise some if not most of the black people that live where i live, am i a racist or something like that?

I'm white and currently live in Alabama. And I see the most redneck white people on God's green planet!
And when people hear my slight accent or I tell them where I'm from they automatically assume that I'm racist white trash.
Every race has their crackpots and idiots. No race on this planet is perfect.

What you dont like is really the unfortunate effect of the left upon the African community in America.
The left wing, and Islamists, have long tried to leverage African discontent, to gain political advantage or cause social milase.
In the case of Islamists, as with the Nation of Islam, the idea was to wage war against the west, by trying to "use", in the ugliest sense of the word, post-slavery African disconent, against America.
In the case of the Left, the idea was to create a captured constiutency that would always vote for their candidates. First, they painted the conservative parties as racist because they werent willing to give as many handouts. Of course, conservatives dont want to give handouts to anyone, based on the self-reliance viewpoint, but the left painted this as racist.
The net effect is that, discontent, hatred, civil disobedience was rewarded. Imagine if you rewarded your pet everytime it pissed on the rug. Humans, no matter the race, work similarly. Unfortunately, the left rewards all bad behavior, included riots. What other outcome can you expect?

I dont think youre racist. I think youve gotten an education and gotten out of that ghetto mentality. I feel the same way sometimes...I laugh at the Mexicans who drive down the street blaring that lame music, and with GUADALAJARA! stickers on their cars... Im a freakin American - born and raised. Ive educated myself, and as a result, I dont "do" typically hispanic activities...

i won't say racist, you just get annoyed by the stereotype, and the people who basically proved the creator of the stereotype is correct. And whenever I talk to people, they don't think I'm black or fully black because of my personality. I'm basically opposite of the stereotype, and some people just don't want to except that. Some people think that because you're black, you have to listen to hip hop/rab/r&b, play basketball, eat greasy foods, etc. Yeah I listen to some r&b songs, but I listen to other kinds of music. You're right... not all black people act a certain way.

Only you can answer this question! It sounds like you may be a bit of a racist, because your dislike is targeting only blacks in this case. Then again, I am white and could say the same thing about certain white groups, so maybe I'm racist too.

There is nothing wrong with your preference. You prefer not to like people who have serious attitude problems and such. That is not racist. You don't hate all blacks and you don't think that all blacks have this problem. I think that you really people assuming that you will be ghetto because you are black. Being black does not automatically mean you have to be ghetto. People act as if blacks can't act any other way.

you are right on track. show that you don't have to act any certain way to be a member of any race. There is also a white and nerdy stereotype every race has one. Best advice is to lead by example and never let a stereotype limit you let it motivate you to make change in yourself then in the next generation.

The people that think you should act a certain way are the racists, not you. However, if in general you don't like black people and you stereotype them yourself, then you are a racist.
You could just be angry with the individuals who are the reason such stereotypes exists.

Do you think they act this, because of their skin color?.
It looks like you only see things by the person's skin color. They could've been White, Asian, Hispanic. But in this case they are Black, and remember that it is NOT their skin color that makes them that way, it is the way they were raised.

no i dint think so that would make me racist too and i know I'm not but feel the same way you do. those people are the ones that i feel are racist cuz its seems like they are the ones bringing down the whole race and giving decent black people a bad name I'm from New York so it doesn't just happen in Cali
