Do you think we should insist that everyone in the UK speaks the same language and that foreigners should be included in British society, rather than have many different societies conflicting with each other, which causes problems.

I'm interested in the physiological reason behind the freq. falls of the elderly, esp. women. I know that sometimes it is related to osteoporisis and fragile bones that break but what else. What i really want to know is how to prevent this happening to me. Is it exercise...balance exer. or stretching or building muscle or all of it. It does seem like even the elderly that walk and are in really good shape for their age fall too. It seems to have something to do with balance...an inner ear thing....what? Some thoughtful answers please....

I am on a mission, to make homemade wine. I made it many years ago with a bottle and a balloon, wasn't the tastiest thing I ever had, but certainly had the effect I was looking for.
Now I'm on a mission to create something far more delicious
My husband's doctor has told him he should drink two glasses of wine a day, so we intend to develop a couple of recipes.
Have you ever made homemad wine?
Do I need to purchase a kit?
Is regular yeast good or does it need to be a special type of yeast?
What about fermentation, is it better to use a glass jar, or something where the uv rays can't get through?
Any advise would be appreciated.
Any web sites that you know of that sell wine making kits and ingredients.
What would be your favorite flavor?

Public senior housing is kind of like welfare....cities and towns provide it for seniors...would you be embarrassed about it?

I was walking down the street when I was accosted by a particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless woman who asked me for a couple of dollars for dinner. I got out ten dollars and asked, "If I give you this money, will you buy wine with it?" "No I had to stop drinking years ago", the woman told me. Will you use it to go shopping instead of buying food" I asked. "No, I don't waste time shopping, the woman said. I need to spend all my time trying to stay alive. Will you spend this on a beauty salon instead of food? Are you nuts! replied the woman. I haven't had my hair done in 20 years. Well, I said, I'm not going to give you the money. Instead, I'm going to take you out for dinner with my husband and me tonight. The woman was shocked. Won't your husband be furious with you for doing that? I know I'm dirty, and I probably smell disgusting. I said, "That's okay, It's important for him to see what a woman looks like after she has given up shopping, salon visits, and wine.
