This site has gone to the dogs...too many idiots here who think they are god, powerless people in life who exert power here by clicking "report." This site was fun at one time, then everone came here because the rest of the site is downright evil....there are few, if any nice people in Yahoo A! in general, and those people congregated here in Seniors. Now, we have all the jerks from the rest of the site here, and they learned NOTHING from their actions at the others sites here....like I said, idiots! (trust me, I will get reported for this answer....like I give a rat's @$$. Babe, go to Outlaws and read my latest posting....If you like the idea, give me your ideas, etc. I am prepared to do something about what is going on here, and am able to do it as an alternative. If someone gives you a BA you could email them (if they have their email address public) but thanking them on here is seen as chatting or something. It all depends on who is lurking on Seniors whether you get a violation or not. Sometimes any question or answer will get a violation and there's not an awful lot we can do about it. Don't get upset by it coz the people who do it are like the bullies at school who got a kick out of upsetting people. That's Yahoo life! xx

Hi,

I asked the same question to customer service at Yahoo. Obviously, they failed to give me a reason. It is so pathetic that they just copy and paste the rules and regulation without even reading my question and the answers I was given.

My question then, is directed to Yahoo programmers...it is certain that no real person monitors what is going on here...and as an ex IT Project Manager, I'm pretty sure that paths have been built to recognize certain words, but only at the question level, because we all constantly read answers from people that continuously break the civil code here and do not ever get a violation, we see and report those same people and there are still here offending others...so the guidelines apply just at the question level. It is easy to work like this..my complete compliments to the programmers.

I hope this helps you....

Cheers

I have received more violations than stars,
Once you do something someone doest like,
or say something, they hunt your questions and answers out to report you, Little punks, if they dont like it, why dont they go to the next one, I guess it is the only power they have in their simple, depraved life.
I got a violation for asking where have all the gypsies gone.

Jillie, just let it fly. I have received violation notices from a suggestion on comfort foods to apple pie. Some of it makes no sense at all.

Same old bridge denizens hanging around. And that avatar you are using is like a red flag to a bull for them....

Sorry this is happening to you again Jilly. You certainly don't deserve it!

It's called "chatting" and it's the new guidelines being enforced worse than ever. In Y/A efforts to do better they are doing a disservice to all of us who add their personality to the cite by acknowledging good imput. This just gives the trolls more to hack away good contributions.

I cant see why that would be a problem unless Y wants us to check our manners at the door as it seem a lot on here have done. Don't let it get to you, I had one this morning as well. I just pitch them in the V file and let my dog chew on them ;-)

Oh yes I had already given best answer.

Love the picture Jilly. Dont let the V get you down. Somebody got up on the wrong side of bed today and wants to take it out on you. Life goes on.
