WII Veterans who came Back and bought up Surplus Army Harley 750's. They Bobbed or Chopped them to make them lighter for racing an style.

Formed by ex-military men after WW2.There are plenty of books about the HAs,a good one is 'Hells Angels' by Hunter S Thmpson.

Check out Sonny Barger as he was one of the founders. He has written some books usually with Hunter Thompson. I just finished reading them and enjoyed them all.
