My uncle immigrated to Canada, because he felt is was so hard for him to raise a family here. He's worried that since the cost of living here in the USA is so great, he wouldn't have time for his children, and putting them in day care is not his idea of being a parent. My other uncle went to New Zealand and says he now knows what it is to be human again. (with the same concerns of raising a family. Yet, people bash them and feel there is no better place than the usa. And the general attitude the usa has the best quality of life, when we rank like 18th in the world. You guys thoughts?

I am African American and I work in a call center should I be offended? Do white people think that we as African Americans don't know how to speak proper English?

It has been observed that more and more people benefitting from the advances in Medical Science tend to live longer. This is true in the EU, in the Americas, in Japan, and in other countries - including the Philippines. In Metro Manila, many Elderly Senior Citizens (Filipinos & Foreigners) could be left alone in their respective homes while everybody else in the household are out busy earning a living. The few Gov't-owned Homes-for-the-Elderly are presently cramped with overflowing Resident-Elderlies who are considered either "destitute" &/or "abandoned". The old Privately-owned Homes-for-the-Elderly are hardly available in Metro Manila. Some new (but few) privately-owned projects designed as "Retirement Havens" are all located outside of Metro Manila.

I envision setting up a chain of neighborhood-based Homes-for-the-Elderly (with each home accomodating about 10 resident-elderlies) strategically spread around Metro Manila near to Hospitals, to Churches, to Malls, to Greeneries.

Well aside from the "powers". Those who are "gifted" are often rejected by their family, they often feel isolated and alone. Society thinks their a menace, freaks. I saw the movie and the thought came upon me.

In the last movie they found a cure for the mutants, some mutants wanted the cure....almost like if they found a cure for homosexuality, some folks will take it.

Have you ever thought of it in this way?

White men have played Othello. Caucasians have played Asians and Native Americans. Do older films that feature this sort of thing bother you? If they did it today, would it bother you?

Have you done anything that made you laugh this week. Don't know if you will find this one amusing but I did!
There is always a vase of flowers on my work top next to the sink and while I was washing dishes I knocked it over. So there was a litre of water gradually creeping everywhere, I grabbed the nearest thing to hand and tried to catch it, but it still continued to make a puddle on the floor. Maybe it would have been better if I'd have chosen something other than a colander full of holes !!lmao
I promise you I really did that! I'm waiting to see how I can beat that one!

No or very little precentage of hearing left). I am kind of scared because I got use to hear some noises like tv very loud and dog barking or whatever...
