Have you done anything that made you laugh this week. Don't know if you will find this one amusing but I did!
There is always a vase of flowers on my work top next to the sink and while I was washing dishes I knocked it over. So there was a litre of water gradually creeping everywhere, I grabbed the nearest thing to hand and tried to catch it, but it still continued to make a puddle on the floor. Maybe it would have been better if I'd have chosen something other than a colander full of holes !!lmao
I promise you I really did that! I'm waiting to see how I can beat that one!

You are all making me laugh so much I'm going to extend this question while I think about whose answer is best. I truly can't decide even though I have just read everyone of them 3 times each. x

I have many senior moments I think it is just we have too much information in our heads and sometimes it gets cluttered. I have to say you made me LOL because I can see me doing that. One time looking for the remote it was gone, missing for almost a month then I found it in the laundry chute kind of laying on the ledge...now tell me how I could have put the remote down the chute? One of life's little mysteries. My favorite one is when I am putting groceries away and cant find my purse. I have now learned first place to look is in the fridge.

Like this morning came down from bed about 7.30. Put the kettle on,turned on the tele for the news(What about that bomb then) and got the cat some breakfast as she was miaowing her head off. Kettle boiled, poured it in the teapot. Got the biscuit tin out and collected my daily paper from the front doormat. Got my mug and milk and sugar all ready on the dining table. Milk and sugar in the mug Pour the tea, plain water, had forgotten the tea bags,Sod it start again. .Did a load of washing later ,shirts, socks, pants, hankies, couple of pairs of trousers . Started the machine ,yes I had put detergent and comfort in it, then remembered too late the towels from the bathroom and a not too clean tea towel. They will have to go in the next load now on Monday or Tuesday. What will go wrong tomorrow I don't know.

Lol, love the story!

Today i was on the bus going into the town center the day started as usual, ie on bus, check surroundings and i slowly realized i was on the wrong route. I had no idea how far i was from the town center. So made the bus driver stop with a series of odd screams. He stopped the bus and asked me what was wrong. I said i was lost and miles away from home.

He must have thought i was having mental breakdown. As i later discovered this bus i was on ran parallel to my regular route!

I was 2 minutes away form my the town center, i need a lie down!

I have been having senior moments for the last 5 or 6 years and I am 46, I have to laugh at myself, because I also get to see the great senior moments my 85 year old Mom has, so continue to laugh, it is better than crying. God Bless.

I am a Filipino Senior Citizen with a much "challenged Life". Normally, I am not quick to laugh. As I spend about 10 hours everyday emailing and surfing in the Internet, I am used to being alone and silent while glued to my LapTop's monitor. But I did laugh 2 days ago.

While at Yahoo Mail, a ChatBox suddenly popped up with my Daughter-in-Law asking: "DaddyLolo"? As this was our 1st time ever to chat, I answered back: "Jerlyn - Mother of my pretty Kimi"? Kimi is my grand daughter who turned 1 yr old just last June 21st. Jerlyn replied: "YES. And I'm about to send an email of Kimi". I replied: "OK". Shortly thereafter, I got the email with Kimi's attached picture. I could not contain myself as I instantaneously burst into laughter when I saw my pretty Kimi's headshot caught by camera with her tongue naughtily out - as in a mischievous pout. I then realized that an Old Man at 63yrs old could still be made to laugh even by a Child at 1yr old.

I had had a hard day so when I got home I made myself a G&T. I remembered that I had to do some washing so put the clothes in the washing machine.

It was only when I sat down with the glass in my hand that I realised I had put the G&T in the soap drawer and the liquid detergent in my glass!

My Mum seems to have a few, lol.
The other day at the busstop she said to me 'You know, I keep thinking it's wednesday today'. I said 'It is wednesday',
She said 'Oh, I thought it was really Thursday but was thinking it was Wednesday' ?????????????
Think I may be taking after her as find myself doing daft things. Looking all over for a jar of coffee that I knew I'd just bought when I'd been shopping. Searched everywhere but couldn't find it. In the end thought I'll just have a can of coke out the fridge then. Opened the fridge and found my jar of coffee stacked amongst my cans of coke. lol.

Oh good grief. I have so many. The latest tho' concerns the remote. I would put it down when watching TV and could never find it fast enough to change channels. I started putting it on my shoulder, so it wouldn't get lost among the papers and magazines. Well, I guess old habits die hard, because I still find myself spending time looking for it.

You mean the day before yesterday when, in a huff, I continued to press the print button on the 'box' without looking at the screen [or right in front of me, for that matter] to see that I was out of paper? Stupid machine! Everything else around here talks to me, whether I want it to or not, but not a verbal squeak was heard. And no I'm not going deaf... yet.
