I am African American and I love Indian clothes, I love variety and different cultures, I especially love theirs ,I will sarees to Lehenga Cholis quite often.I simply feel people should embrace and learn about other cultures more often in America. I think other countries do and wear our clothes as well. So why not do the same thing as long as you know wear its coming from.

When I'm well (or on a high).. I'm fun, lively..interesting, well traveled, and a pretty cool person (well I think I am!)..

But when I'm in a bad period.. I can't even get out of bed, or get washed..

Ok, I'm currently dating a very handsome and wonderful guy. He's Black and Arab abd my family keeps in aksing if hes a muslim or does speak arabic. Sometimes their questions are annoying. My grandma said that Arab men are controlling and that if he is muslim he might beat me. And they keep telling me that if I marry him our kids will be confused. I;m not listening to their comments. They haven't even meet him, why are they making ignorant judgements about him?

Ok, what is an African American? Can a white guy from South Africa be a African American? And what does it mean to be a Hispanic American? If my grandma is dominican, and my grandpa (from my dad side) is Cuban, what does this make me? Or does it go by parents? My mom and dad were born in Haiti.

Among all the minorities I notice that Asians in general or truthly not much of tattle-tails. They don't go around yelling racist, or suing as much as other minorities. Why is that? They just take **** coming their way and turn the other check. I can respect that.

It seems that all Disney productions have gay undertones in them. For example, phallic structures/castles/houses/architechure, flamboyant Chip & Dale, heroic male characters clearly homo (Prince Charming, Hercules, Gaston, etc), Mulan dressing in drag, etc Any answers to why or comments?

They say 1/4 of all HIV victims are unaware that they have the disease. At first, I thought everyone with AIDS should be separated from society, but that's impractical, financially and in other ways, too.

What if all US citizens were required to get yearly HIV tests? For those who can't afford it, the test would be free for those under a certain income bracket. Anybody who does not get tested each year will be arrested and charged with crime. Anyone who turns out to have the virus should have a permanent mark made by branding or tattooing (sedated, of course) (maybe on the inside of the elbow, so it doesn't show during business settings). That way, potential sex partners can simply check the person's elbow, as well as drug accomplices, etc.

I wish everyone could be responsible and avoid casual sex, test regularly on their own, use condoms, and avoid intravenous drugs, but that's not the way it is. This disease must be eradicated, even if it takes force.

I myself have a beige computer case, but that does not mean I have more processing power than my fellow Black computers. Processing power depends on the processor, which are all silver-colored. Some even think that beige or white looks less modern than black, but there aren't any computer-case slurs.

Is this any different from minor racial differences, which many people insult others over?

My child is half mexican and half black. His grandparents told his father that they did not want a black child to carry their Montez name and the rest of the family would not accept him. So he moved back to Houston saying he would not be accepted in the hispanic community in Houston or his family and it was best if we stayed in another state. Of course he moved back with his family to Houston . Am I the only one who think this is bull, Are the Mexican families in Houston or other areas really like that? Is there soneone going through something similar?

I was in a college class when I had a huge debate with someone about "reverse racism" where the "White man" is not geting the job because of affirmative action...
What is reverse racism... does it mean that racism is going the "right way" when it is against people of color?
