Well, I like to cross-dress for a number of reasons and here they are:
#1 I like to dress-up as the girl I always wanted to date and wear what I wanted her to wear, if you can't have the girl of your dreams, then dress-up and become the girl of your dreams.
#2 I'd rather dress-up as a girl, because I love the feel of their clothes, plus I love the make-up, high heels and love to shave my legs and wear pantyhose or stockings & a garter belt with a short skirt or dress, I love to show my legs off too.
#3 When I see a woman walking down the street, I don't think about getting into her panties, I think about wearing her panties, bra, hose, skirt, top and wonder what else she has that's in my size.
#4 Plus, it's fun dressing up as a girl and going out on the town and if I don't get lucky, my wife always has her favorite toy waiting for me when I get home.
That's a few of the reasons I love to cross-dress, plus it's just fun too.

Its the hidden women inside (some of) us which we can bring out when we dress like them. Its almost always passing and for the most part, we would rather be ourselves.

for some it's just the feel of the clothes, for some it's a way for them to feel more feminine, and for the rest it's just natural to them. some guys are more masculine and others are more feminine. This does not mean they are gay, in fact most crossdresser are straight. (not saying that you said they were)
