That was so funny the way u said that u had me in tears cause that is exactly how they do it lol. They act like they're so concerned about a tragic murder then they turn and look into that other camera "Well, lets check the forecast its gonna be a beautiful week right dave!" They are so fake lol

I worked in the news industry for about five years and you are right. Many of them are rude in a way. They push to whatever lengths it takes to get the best footage and hottest story. It is all about ratings and viewer numbers. Some of the things we were told to do was quite unsettling. I switched to entertainment stories and happy stories to save my soul and dignity. A great book about this subject is Anderson Cooper's "Dispatches from the Edge". It is worth the read. When filming horrible scenes, you worry more about whether it is in focus and which shots will edit together or which questions to ask the subject. I know it is cold in a way. Well in more than just one way. It can also effect the people doing the stories, but it all is under the command of executives pursuing that all mighty viewer and high ratings.

It's their job to report the news in an unbiased manner. But they really are people and they really do have emotions believe it or not! I once shadowed a news reporter way back in high school as part of a graduation requirement. News people are really fun to be around off camera but they do tend to go into professional mode and change drastically when they're on camera. Again...it's their job. It's what they get paid to do and even so a lot of them do express emotion toward the stories that they report when they're off camera (it's not really permissible for them to express their opinion about it on camera).

This question is in the wrong category. This category is for sex and gender issues. If you place it in the correct category you are more likely to get a good answer.
